Water Damage

Trusted for Repairs After Water & Plumbing Damage.
Homeowners have trusted True Patch to repair ceilings, walls and openings left behind after leaks and plumbing work.
“Sal was very responsive to repairing my ceiling and getting rid of the mold caused by a cracked pipe in the attic, and was so nice to deal with. The repair is invisible.”
“Sal was retained to seal 4 large holes as the result of plumbing pipe replacement. Two were in a popcorn stucco ceiling, one was textured ceiling/wall and the fourth was a smooth living room ceiling. An excellent job for a demanding requirement. Very satisfied.”
Before We Repair the Drywall.
The most important question is whether the source has been fixed and the affected area is ready for drywall repair.
Can you repair drywall after a leak?
Yes. Once the source of the water has been addressed, we can assess the damaged wall or ceiling, remove drywall where required, rebuild the affected area and complete the finishing work.
How do you know if the area is still wet?
When appropriate, we can use moisture-detection equipment to check the affected area before new drywall is installed and finished.
Does all water-damaged drywall need to be replaced?
Not necessarily. The amount that needs replacement depends on the condition of the drywall and the extent of the damage. Material that is soft, swollen or no longer sound may need to be removed.
Can you repair water-damaged ceilings?
Yes. We repair damaged ceiling drywall after leaks once the source has been corrected and the affected area is ready for repair.
Can you repair drywall after a plumber opens the wall?
Yes. Openings left after plumbing repairs are a common part of our work. We can rebuild, tape, finish and paint the repaired area when included in the project scope.
Do you provide emergency water extraction or leak repair?
True Patch focuses on repairing the drywall after the source of the water has been addressed. Active plumbing, roofing or other leak sources should be repaired first.
Do you paint after the drywall repair?
Yes. Painting can be included when you want the repaired area completed through the final finish.
Can I send photos or do I need a site visit?
Photos can be a useful starting point. Ceiling damage, larger affected areas or situations where the condition is unclear may require a site visit.
