Before You Book Your Repair.
These are some of the most common questions homeowners ask before scheduling drywall repair in Toronto and the GTA.
How much does drywall repair cost in Toronto?
Pricing depends on the size and location of the damage, whether it is on a wall or ceiling, the number of areas being repaired, access, the condition of the surrounding drywall, and whether painting is required. Photos are often enough to estimate straightforward repairs.
Can you repair both walls and ceilings?
Yes. We repair drywall damage on walls and ceilings, including holes, cracks, access openings, damaged sections and repairs left after other trades have completed their work.
Can you repair drywall after plumbing or electrical work?
Yes. Once the plumbing or electrical work is complete, we can repair the access opening, install new drywall where required, tape and finish the area, and complete painting when included in the scope.
Do you paint after the drywall repair?
Yes. Painting can be included when you want the repair completed through the final finish. The exact scope depends on the size and location of the repair and the surrounding painted surface.
Will drywall repair create a lot of dust?
Drywall finishing does involve sanding, but we use dust-control equipment and protect nearby surfaces to help keep the work area cleaner and more contained.
What if the drywall was damaged by water?
The source of the water should be corrected before the drywall is closed and finished. When appropriate, we can check for remaining moisture and repair the damaged drywall once the area is ready.
Do I need a site visit or can I send photos?
For many straightforward repairs, photos and basic measurements may be enough to provide an estimate. Larger repairs, ceiling damage, water-related damage, plaster or lath, or anything that needs closer inspection may require a site visit.
Is your drywall repair work covered by a warranty?
Yes. True Patch backs its workmanship with a 12-month warranty, giving you added confidence after the repair is complete.
